Let’s started the international exchange Potluck party!!

On 29th January (Saturday) at 6:00 P.M. was held at the Azuchi Kominkan (Azuchi Community Center) the international Potluck party.

At the Potluck party you have to bring one dish typical of your country. The participants were 42 and 18 of them were foreigners came from Brazil, Peru and India.

The participants while were testing dish from different countries, they have had an exchange of opinion. The grilled Mochi (Rice cake) very famous outside were eaten with gusto.

Many participants were children and they enjoyed with traditional Japanese games like whirligig and origami.

The Brazilians took Samba dresses that attracted the attention of all with their bright colours.

During the second part of the party the participants, divided in 3 groups, talked about the following themes: Pride for own country, about Japanese life experiences and how Japanese and foreigners see each other. It was a good opportunity for reduce the cultural distance between the countries.
